I just heard that Kandy and Vince had their baby this morning...natural birth, perfect latch. Thanks to MotherWit Doula Steph Bouris and MotherWit apprentice Andrea Legg for their superb, reliable support. All unfolded as it should have.
hells ya! we did it! Me, who fears pain, did it! and i have been praising motherwit and the benefits of having a doula by your side since then. i curiously would not have had a natural birth with-ought them because, seriously, when that little nurse came in gleefully shouting "i have the epideral for Mrs Gray" my head shot up so fast! i say would and not could because, in retrospect, everyone can have a natural birth. but at the time i definatly would have said "yess please" if those wonderfull ladies hadent been there to tell me honestly that i was really almost there.
